Sometimes we don’t understand why things happen the way they happen. However, we can have reassurances through God’s Word that He is in control of all our circumstances. God said he knew every hair we had on our head. If he cares enough to know even the hairs on our head, don’t you think He cares about everything that is going on in our lives?

God is a good and He only wants what is best for his children. It is us who wander aimlessly doing our own thing, then blaming God when it doesn’t work out. We must let God be God and cast all our cares upon Him and leave them there. God said He would not place more on us than we could bear and He is not a liar of His Word. When we don’t understand, then we must trust in God to bring us through. Psalms 23:4 says, Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. (nlt) In other words, he is beside us, no matter what! What reassurances…what peace…what love! As we pray today let us thank our heavenly Father for always being
close beside us in all circumstances.
