Meet The Messengers

Evangelist Joyce Turner, the Founder of Radiant SonRise Ministry, has a call and the driving force of the Holy Spirit burning in her heart with a fire of desire to call believers to rekindle their fire for God, His Word and His work. Her passion to reach all people, whether they are at her back door or across the world with the love of God, is burning deep within her soul. She has been called to minister to a field of “Broken Pieces”, to tell them God loves them. and that He is in the repair business. Her call came in the Spring of 1996 as she was praying and seeking God’s guidance for her life. After many nights and days of praying and giving God all types of excuses why she couldn’t do what He had called her to do, she surrendered her life and calling to an unchanging God. It was then she knew in her heart that God was saying, “Answer My call to preach the gospel to the world.” She has conducted services, evangelized and taught in not only her local church, but also throughout the United States and Africa. Joyce is an active member of her local church, Morningstar United Methodist Church, located in Charlotte, NC where she is the Lay Leader and in her 10th year of Lay Speaker school certification. She is a non-denominational ordained minister and was awarded her Doctor Of Divinity from The Williams-Clemon-Davis Bible Institute. Joyce is a published writer who uses her gifts to draw others into a closer relationship with the Heavenly Father. Her desire is that people would leave the meetings filled with God’s fire, feeling refreshed by the Holy Spirit, alive in Jesus, and loved by God.

Karan Costner “KayCee” is the Minister of Worship for Radiant SonRise Ministry. God has placed a special anointing on KayCee in the area of liturgical dance and sign language. As she leads you into worship to the Heavenly Father, she challenges you to give God the praise and worship He deserves. Her face is evidence that she is dancing before God for His pleasure. Like David, her call is to honor God with praise and worship. The anointing that comes upon her when she dances before God touches those in attendance. Many stand in awe, with tears flowing down their cheeks, and hands high and lifted up in God presence. God has appointed her to prepare the pulpit for his healing Word and that is evident when you see her translate song and sign language into dance for His glory. Her desire is to inspire others to seek closeness with the Lord. Her testimony of how God has rekindled a fire in her soul to go around the world and inspire others to lift up praises to God in dance is based on the personal journey she has traveled. Karan has also traveled with Radiant SonRise Ministry and lead conferences throughout United States and Africa for 9 years. She has served side-by-side with Evangelist Joyce’s every step of the way with encouragement, love and loyalty. Additionally, she is a published writer, using her gift as an avenue for others to find a place of solace and comfort. She serves Radiant SonRise Ministry in the capacity of Ministry Relations.
